Mark Poling Joins Zipari as Chief Product Officer

BROOKLYN, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Health insurance software startup Zipari
is pleased to announce that Mark Poling has joined the company as Chief
Product Officer. Poling will oversee the continued development,
innovation and management of all Zipari’s health plan solutions.

“Mark has an impressive track record of bringing health technology
platforms through rapid periods of growth,” said Mark Nathan, CEO and
founder of Zipari. “His addition is important to enhance the work that
Zipari is doing to bring payers the consumer engagement products they
need to deepen member interactions.”

Poling has more than two decades of experience in the health-tech
startup industry. He began his career designing and developing a
telemedicine platform for Telemedicine Systems Corp., after which he
co-founded Connecture, the first national marketplace to use analytics
to streamline health insurance enrollment and management. Mark then
co-founded Colibrium, the first health insurance sales and enrollment
software company to use a CRM solution. He also oversaw the growth of
platforms at both Connecture and Colibrium that ultimately resulted in
their inclusion in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant.

Mark’s interest in CRM most recently resulted in his founding of rebmeM,
a boutique health consulting firm dedicated to transforming member
experiences through various engagement solutions. These solutions
include CRM systems, distribution platforms, telehealth and predictive
analytics.

“Mark has the forward-thinking attitude and the technical- and
industry-specific knowledge necessary to respond to the needs of
Zipari’s clients,” said Nathan. “With over twenty years working in the
health tech space, there are few individuals with his skillset. I’m
excited to welcome him on board.”

“I’ve always had an interest in helping payers use technology to improve
the customer and member experiences,” said Poling. “Zipari offers payers
solutions that no one else ever has, and they’re coming at a time when
members are increasingly demanding of them. I look forward to working
alongside the skilled team at Zipari to continue helping payers meet
member demands and expectations.”
